Thorpe On The Hill Cat Feeding & Care Visits, by Gem’s Cats

Charlie contacted Gem’s Cats because they needed reliable care for their four cats, Rosie, Bruno, Figero and Marshall, while they were away for a few days. Based in Thorpe on the Hill, south Lincoln, the family needed two visits a day, with both morning and evening care arranged to keep the cats’ routine as settled as possible.

What Rosie, Bruno, Figero & Marshall Needed

This was the first time the cats had been left, so Charlie naturally felt anxious about being away from them. With four cats in the home, it was important that each cat was checked on properly, fed, cared for and given attention, while also making sure their usual routine was followed as closely as possible.

Rosie, the sassiest of the group, also liked to go on lengthy adventures, which meant the visits needed a little extra patience and attention. It was important to make sure she was seen, checked on and safely accounted for during each visit.

How Gem Helped

Gem’s Cats provided twice-daily visits, attending in the morning and evening to care for all four cats. During each visit, Gem made sure the cats were looked after, checked in on and given the care they needed while their owners were away.

To help ease Charlie’s worries, Gem sent multiple photos and updates every morning and evening. These regular messages gave reassurance that the cats were safe, settled and doing well at home.

When Rosie decided to head off on one of her longer adventures, Gem took the time to look for her rather than simply carrying out the basics and leaving. This extra care helped make sure every cat was properly accounted for and gave the family additional peace of mind.

The Result

Charlie was able to enjoy time away knowing that Rosie, Bruno, Figero and Marshall were being cared for in their own home by someone patient, attentive and reliable. The regular updates and photographs helped reduce the anxiety of leaving the cats for the first time, while Gem’s thoughtful approach meant each cat’s needs were properly considered.

This case shows how helpful twice-daily cat visits can be for multi-cat households, especially when owners want reassurance, routine and regular communication while they are away.

Customer Testimonial

“Gem looked after my four cats while we were away for a few days. Two visits a day. It was the first time we’d left them, so we were very anxious, but every morning and evening I received multiple photos and updates, which really eased our anxieties.

Rosie, our most sassy cat, likes to go on lengthy adventures and Gem always went on the hunt for her. I honestly couldn’t recommend a better person to look after our fluffs. I will definitely be using her again.

Thanks so much for taking care of my babies.”
