The Lincoln Cat Club
The Lincoln Cat Club was created to bring local cat lovers together in a friendly, relaxed and welcoming space. After realising there was nothing quite like it already in Lincoln, I (Gem) decided to start a community where people could meet, chat, socialise and connect over one very important shared interest: cats.
Whether you are a lifelong cat owner, a new cat parent, someone who works with cats, or simply someone who loves learning more about them, Lincoln Cat Club is a place to feel included.
It is about building a safe, fun and supportive community where people can share stories, ask questions, swap advice and celebrate their furry overlords, as they clearly deserve.
Socials, Events & Cat-Focused Conversations
The club is still quite new, but it is already growing into a lovely local community. The aim is to offer a mixture of in-person socials, online sessions, fun events and educational chats, giving members different ways to get involved depending on what suits them best.
Monthly evening socials at Tipsy Teapot are part of the plan, giving local cat lovers the chance to meet in a relaxed and informal setting.
The club also hopes to include guest speaker Q&As, workshops, cat behaviour sessions, grooming advice, socialisation discussions, therapy cat topics, cat walking conversations, veterinary care chats, diet and nutrition talks and more.
A Friendly Community For Cat Lovers
Alongside events and socials, Lincoln Cat Club also has a WhatsApp group full of cat talk, friendly conversation, useful recommendations and general feline goodness. It is a simple way for members to stay connected between events, share updates, ask questions and enjoy being part of a group of people who understand just how important cats can be.
Lincoln Cat Club is open to anyone who loves cats and wants to be part of a positive local community. You do not need to know everything about cats to join.
The club is about learning, sharing, laughing, supporting each other and enjoying the joy, chaos and comfort cats bring into our lives.

Reviews
Gemma is a real ‘cat lady’ and does a fantastic job of looking after our 5, very individual cats. We have 3 rescued feral kittens, 2 of which are super shy & timid – Ollie & Bob and the darling wee ‘Dot’ from the same farm, who for some reason, isn’t as shy or timid! Plus we’ve the 2 adults, Nellie (Senior House Cat) & Mowgli – ‘The Mighty Hunter’ They all have quite different needs with care and Gemma makes sure each is looked after. Gemma sends us pics as updates and keeps us informed. Reliable, trustworthy and cat knowledgeable too. I know our furry kids are in capable, and more importantly, genuine caring hands with Gemma. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and have already booked Gemma to come stay again with our cats.
Gem is absolutely amazing. She took the stress out of leaving the cats as we knew they would be in good hands. We received so many pictures and updates it was amazing. Our cats have been truly spoilt and we have returned to two very happy kitties. She is just a wonderful lady and I can not recommend her service high enough!
Gem was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t recommend her enough. We wanted to find an alternative to a cattery and Gem’s pet sitting service was perfect. We had lots of communication and updates on Pickle including photos and videos which helped us feel at ease. Pickle instantly took to Gem, and enjoyed a lot of attention and playing time throughout the stay. We are so glad we found Gem and will definitely be using her pet sitting services again in the future!
I can’t even begin to explain how Gemma’s service has transformed our Christmas. Having pets is just like having small furry children isn’t it ? But we can’t take them away to spend time with family for obvious reasons and leaving them seemed selfish and mean at Christmas. But then I discovered Gemma’s cats and she put my mind at rest and she has kept us updated with funny pictures and has spent time with them and they’ve had new treats and toys and cuddles and time spent with them. She is amazing and her business is professional and friendly and her knowledge and skills have totally helped me relax. Thankyou so much xx
If you need a cat-sitter in Lincoln, Gemma is the person to go to! Utilising a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness, she has made my trip away anxiety free. With photo and video updates of my cat, I haven’t had to worry once and I know she is getting all her needs met. Videos Gemma has sent me prove that she is a natural with animals, to the point that I think my usually reserved cat will be disappointed when I’m back and Gemma is not making her daily visits. A huge bonus that Gemma was available to care for my cat over the Christmas holidays too. I can’t recommend her enough and I will be using her again in the future.
