Courtney contacted Gem’s Cats after looking for a cat groomer who could help with a nail trim for her cat, Amora. Based just off Lincoln High Street in the city centre, Courtney needed someone calm, patient and experienced who could visit the home and provide gentle grooming support in a familiar environment.
What Amora Needed
Amora was not comfortable having her paws touched, which made nail trimming more difficult and stressful for both cat and owner. Courtney explained this before the appointment and Gem understood that the visit would need to be handled carefully, without rushing or forcing the process.

When Gem arrived, she gave Amora and the other cats time to approach at their own pace. This patient approach helped create a calmer environment before any grooming began.
